If you have been to the library at West any time this year, then you’ve likely seen the orange slips lying around the shelves advertising Lincoln-Way West’s Read for a Lifetime program. The Read for a Lifetime program from the Illinois State Library offers students the challenge of reading novels from a wide variety of genres and authors for the chance of winning an array of prizes if you’re willing to read the romance, mystery, non-fiction, and many other novels spread across its twenty-five total books. To complete this challenge, you must read from the selected list, at the very least, four novels, and at the most, twenty-five. Some of the novels include Divine Rivals, Thieves Gambit, The Loop, and Accountable. It is the perfect chance for avid readers alike to experience a wide variety of stories that they may not have found otherwise. Are you up for the challenge? Pick up one of the orange bookmarks in the library for more information or go to Read for a Lifetime | Lincoln-Way West.
