If you love reading, Book Club is for you. They meet once a month on Thursdays.  At each meeting, you discuss books you have read, favorite books, and a featured title for discussion.  The featured books are decided by having every club member in attendance select one book from the library.  They describe the book they chose and why everyone should read it.  There is a vote and the book with the most votes is chosen for the next month’s discussion.  There are also occasional field trips.  This year they met with Lincoln-Way Central’s book club at The New Lenox Public Library.  There are plans to go to local author events in the future or sponsor guest authors.  Members also help with the library’s book sales, participate in a holiday book exchange, and have an end of the year party.  The Book Club is held in the library and sponsored by librarian, Jennifer Bromann-Bender. Stop in the library or send a Teams message to the librarian if you are interested in joining.  It is never too late.
