What are your goals, resolutions, and/or hopes for 2022?
No Masks.  Never masks again.

What made you want to become a social science teacher? What do you enjoy about the job?
I tried to go into the military, but my mother said I had to go to college first.  I always enjoyed social sciences classes and figured, “Hey, why not?”

What book, TV show, or movie do you think everyone should read/watch? Why?
Beasts of No Nation (Book or movie–both were great)

To realize how really good we have it here in America–as a society we have to many complaints for how well we live.

What was the most interesting trip you’ve ever taken or place you have visited?

Costa Rica was terrific–super relaxing.

If you could be anything besides a teacher, what career would you want to pursue and why?

Maybe the military or realtor–I could protect or sell the American Dream, which sounds rewarding and motivating.

If someone could go back in time and open your high school locker, what would they find?

Pantera and Metallica CDs

What was your first job? What was it like?

Dishwasher at a restaurant–I disliked it greatly.  It was a small space and was always busy.  I got paid $4.15 an hour.

What is something that was popular when you were in high school that you thought was cool at the time but now just seems goofy?

If you could go back and give advice to your high school self, what would you tell him?

Don’t focus on college or what others think is best for you.  Learn a skill that you enjoy, harness it and figure out how to make a career out of it.
