Monopoly Go: Monopoly was originally a board game, but in 2023, Hasbro developed and released a mobile version of the popular game. One key difference between Monopoly and Monopoly Go is that in Monopoly, you need other players to play against, whereas Monopoly Go is a single-player game. Other than that, the two games are similar.
Roblox: Roblox is a popular game created in 2004, but after its release on consoles, it is gaining traction again. Roblox’s wide variety of content makes it easy to find a game that you will enjoy. One popular game mode now on Roblox is “Bedwars.” In this strategy game, you must collaborate with your team to keep your bed safe and destroy those of other teams. If a rival team destroys your bed, you will not be able to respawn, and once everyone on your team is dead without a bed, you lose the game. To win, though, you must destroy all the other teams’ beds. That is just one of the millions of games available on Roblox.
Brawl Stars: Brawl Stars is a mobile video game developed by Supercell and released in 2018. In this game, you can play as one of eighty-five brawlers and play in game modes such as Gem Grab, Showdown, Heist, and Knockout. Each of the eighty-five brawlers has a unique attack and power, one of my favorite brawlers is Darryl, a robot barrel. He makes his attack using superpowers. One of the game modes, Gem Grab, involves collecting gems that appear every few seconds, if you die though, the other team can take the gems that you drop. The team that collects ten gems and keeps them for 15 seconds wins the game.
Geometry Dash: Geometry Dash is a video game developed by Robtop and is available on most consoles and platforms. In this fast-paced game, you must dodge obstacles while playing as a cube, UFO, jet, and more. In this game you can play one of the official levels, or one of the millions made by players. You can play levels that range from easy difficulty to demon difficulty if you are up for the challenge.
Clash Royale: Clash Royale is a video game also developed by Supercell and released in 2017. Clash Royale is a strategy game in which you place down troops in attempt to destroy your opponents tower, whoever has more towers destroyed after three minutes, or destroys the king tower first, wins. If either player is unable to earn a crown within the three minutes, the game goes into overtime where the first one to destroy the opponent’s tower wins. There are also other game modes such as 2v2, where you can team up with a friend, or you can play the weekly challenge, which puts a twist on the regular game mode.
