Everyone occasionally loves to watch a good movie. - Hocus Pocus . This film is a family friendly movie made in 1993 that is loosely based on the Salem witch trials in Salem Massachusetts back in 1662. In the film, a teenage boy and his family move to Salem and spend their first Halloween in this rather interesting town.
- Beetlejuice. The movie Beetlejuice is a Tim Burton classic made in 1988. The film is mainly about a deceased couple who hire a ghost named Betelgeuse to chase away the new family that has started living in their former home.
- Remember the Titans. Since football is a huge part of the fall season, Remember the Titans is a film made in 2000 about a football team in Virgina that struggles to defeat racial tension. The movie takes place in 1971 during the Civil rights movement when a school football team is newly nonsegregated.
- The Nightmare Before Christmas. This motion picture is also a movie by Tim Burton and made in 1993. It is largely about the adventures of Jack Skellington, who is bored with the regular Halloween traditions of scaring people in the real world, so he goes to a town called “Christmas Town” to seek something more.
- The Addams Family. This movie was made in 1991 and is mainly about a unique family that most people in their society are frightened by. Similar to the hit Netflix Series Wednesday, staring Jenna Ortega, The Addams Family is about monsters who frighten the people of their society due to them being an out of the ordinary family.
