As you all know, this is the last year of the hardworking class of 2024 seniors at Lincoln Way West and to see them go off to college is a big step forward to adulthood. The things they have done for us and the general community have been greatly appreciated. They will be remembered not only for their kindness, but their overall support. We will all miss this year’s seniors and what they have given to us. They have given us memories and moments to be cherished, and the shared joy we have all experienced in the last four years. The altruistic nature of these seniors far surpasses what any of us expected. Their generosity, from the shyest to the most outgoing, reached the rest of us who stay behind.
We’re proud of you and the work and effort you have put into this school, as well as our hearts. Remember the work you have done to bless this school with your presence and think about how the school has molded you into the person you are today. None of us want to see you go, but as you grow past us and head off to your lives to achieve great things, we hope you remember us and the time you have spent here fondly. Leaving is a curse and a blessing. You are all starting another chapter of the life you get to live, and while it may be sad, this is just the beginning for all of you. Love and congrats from our teachers and students and we hope you live your lives to the fullest they can be.
