We all know Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and if you’re planning on celebrating with your significant other, it might be a good idea to start thinking about your itinerary. I like to think they are worth more than a heart shaped box of Russel Stover chocolate from the drug store. So, here are some other ideas ranging in price to make the day more special.
Chick-fil-A Heart Shaped Tins: These can be purchased containing; nuggets, cookies, brownies, and more.
Heart Shaped Pizza: A lot of chains do this, but Rosati’s does them in various sizes.
Flowers Wrapped in Brown Paper: Trust me; the brown paper makes the whole difference. Or add a bow for an extra touch.
A night in: Watch a 90’s rom com or bake themed treats and don’t be afraid to decorate.
Couples Blanket: Go to Michaels and pick your guy’s favorite fabric pattern. Jelly Cat stuffed animal: These are the best stuffed animals on the market, and they have a wide selection.
White Castle “Love Cubes” or “Love Castles”: They do pick-up boxes and table service.
Gift Basket: These are so simple and very personal. Just fill it up with candy, makeup, gift cards, or even pajamas.
Build-A-Bear: They have a Valentine’s collection available online and in-stores.
Lego Flowers: This is one of my favorites and a fun challenge.
A Framed Favorite Photo: This is so do-able and heartwarming.
Handwritten Letter: Handwritten means a lot more than a social media post.
These are all some great examples of how to show your affection in other ways than chocolate. Also, don’t be afraid to step out of the box with your gifts or plans. That’s what makes it memorable.
