Twenty-four students from Lincoln-Way Central, Lincoln-Way East, and Lincoln-Way West attended the SWSC Newspaper Conference in January.  During five sessions, students learned about a variety of different types of journalism from print to television.  Speakers included Jeff Vorva, Carla Erdey, Colleen McCormick, Lauren Traut, and Joe Ward.  The event ended with awards.  Piper Eggener form Lincoln-Way West placed first in the Feature category.  Others in attendance were Emmah Bouchari, Noah Stamborski, and Aidan Bauman.
