The rangers are the most mysterious and secretive force in all Areluen. They are the protectors of the kingdom, fighting the battles before they start. Young Will, an orphaned boy, is chosen as an apprentice to the Ranger Halt. It’s hard work, long hours of practice and nothing Will ever expected. It’s not until they discover a plot brewing in the mountains that Will realizes the importance of a ranger’s job.

The Ruins of Gorlan is an incredible story full of action, adventure, and revenge. The stealthy ways of the rangers make the story more thrilling, leaving you on the edge of your seat through the entire book. Throughout the tale, Will learns more about his past and about who he really is. He learns how to be unseen. As a ranger’s apprentice, he must learn how to fight and prepare for the war that is coming. He must believe he is unseen, for it to be so.
