The Lincoln-Way West Varsity football team’s recent game ended in another victory for the Warriors. The team set a resounding lead in the first half, refusing the encroaching Chargers. The official score was resounding twenty-seven point lead on Stagg, ending 34-7. This stellar run of two victories shows no sign of ceasing as we continue rooting for the Warriors during the senior’s final season of play.

Meanwhile, the Westside student section showed up in full support, despite the poor weather conditions, to enthusiastically spectate their team in action. Nearly every fan was dressed for the USA theme, showing both patriotism and pride for their school. Their cheers exemplified their feelings of excitement for the season moving forward.

Next week West will take on Homewood-Flossmoor, hopefully keeping the streak of victories going for a third week in a row. To join in on the event, be sure to accompany the student section to HF to root for the team!
