10 Questions with Mr. Gallagher

  1. Why do you think it’s valuable for students to study history? 
    Studying history helps identify patterns that you can observe in the present.  Knowing history helps you relate to the diverse people you will come into contact with.
  2. If you became invisible for 10 minutes, what would you do? 
    Help the Bears win a game by tackling a clueless opposing QB
  3. If our country was represented by just one food, what would it be and why? 
    Hamburger.  It is easy, satisfying, and ultimately unhealthy.
  4. Is a hot dog a sandwich? Why or why not? 
    No, sandwiches are made with flat meats.  A hot dog is a tubed meat.
  5. What movie made before the year 2000 should all LWW students make it a priority to see? 
    The Sting.  It is fun and shows how you don’t need a college degree to earn money.
  6. Would you rather be startled by a spider or a snake? 
    Spider.  I would hope that it is radioactive so that if bitten I would get its powers.
  7. If you were to have a job other than teaching, what career would you be interested in pursuing? Why?
    Librarian.  I like reading books, and libraries have a lot of them.
  8. Coke or Pepsi?
    Bai.  I’m a coconut water guy.
  9. If you could give one piece of advice to your high school self, what would that advice be?
    Invest money in Microsoft, Google, and Apple….NOW.
  10. If you could have one song play every time you entered a room, what song would it be? 
    “Swing Low Sweet Chariot”
