The Warrior pride is going to be alive during Homecoming week, which is October 1 to October 6. Orange and black will fill the football stadium for the Homecoming game, and the daily themes will be alive in the hallways. To kick off Homecoming week, there is the annual Homecoming Olympics where teams of freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors will compete. The winning team will get to donate the money raised. If you aren’t on a team, it is still exciting to watch, but make sure you find a team for next year. The Olympics are October 1, at 6:00. To end the school week, there will be the football game. This year West will be hosting Thornton, so gear up because October 5 is jersey night. Ending Homecoming week will be the dance on Saturday night at 7:00. If you are on the edge about attending, don’t be! Grab some friends and have a great time. There will be a lot of dancing and some good music. It will be a time you don’t want to miss. Homecoming week is a time where the school can come together and embrace their inner warrior!
