Ten guests are summoned to a private island as weekend guests. There is no relation between these guests, and they are all different. Each has their own background, their own mysterious past. And their host, the millionaire who owns the island, is nowhere to be found. As the ten guests try to figure out a way to get off the island, strange things start to occur. These strange occurrences all seem to coincide with the nursery rhyme that hangs in every room.

I do not usually read a lot of mystery novels, but this book was recommended to me by my sister. And, honestly, I am so glad I read it. The book kept me on the edge of my seat at every page and guessing until the very end. Although it is an older novel, Agatha Christie’s mystery will still catch the attention of many young readers.
