West Winter Fun

Winter’s on its way and so is its magical excitement. Lincoln-Way West is feeling the Christmas spirit this year as we have had many events to offer.

The season kicked off with the Madrigal Dinner’s “La Noche de Paz” (The Night of Peace).

On December 13th West’s music department performed their winter concert. Audience members spent the evening listening to festive tunes performed by the many ensembles, both vocal and instrumental.

But the fun wasn’t only in music! On December 14th, the Student Council hosted the Polar Express. It cost $5 for children to participate in a magical day. Kids to enjoyed hot chocolate, cookies, a train ride, and, of course, a visit with Santa.

The season offers many events and opportunities to spend time with the ones you love. How will you spend time in the festive spirit over break?
